Welcome to Vietnam! Meet your guide at Noi Bai Airport and transfer to hotel. Short orientation walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter. Optional water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex (outside of Mausoleum if closed), One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature. Street-food lunch (bun cha or pho). Afternoon museum choice: Ethnology Museum or Women’s Museum. Evening free. Overnight in Hanoi.
Drive 2 hours to Ninh Binh. Rowboat through Trang An or Tam Coc, visit Hoa Lu ancient capital, climb Mua Cave viewpoint (if fit). Return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Transfer to Ha Long. Board a boutique cruise, welcome drink and cabin check-in. Cruise past limestone pillars, visit a cave/kayak/swim (per ship’s program). Sunset on deck, cooking demo, squid-fishing. Overnight on board.
Morning tai chi and light breakfast. Explore a limestone grotto or floating village. Early lunch/brunch as the boat sails back. Disembark and transfer to Hanoi/Haiphong Airport for flight to Hue. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Hue.
Boat ride on Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda. Explore Imperial Citadel (UNESCO) and a royal tomb (Khai Dinh or Minh Mang). Lunch with Hue specialties (bun bo Hue, banh khoai). Optional cyclo ride. Overnight in Hue.
Scenic drive over the Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Lagoon. Stop at Marble Mountains in Da Nang. Arrive Hoi An; evening lantern-lit stroll and street-food tasting. Overnight in Hoi An.
Countryside cycling to Tra Que herb village, farming demo and simple cooking class; or join a bamboo basket boat ride in Cam Thanh coconut forest. Free time for tailor shops. Overnight in Hoi An.
Fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Orientation drive: Central Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral (outside), Opera House, Nguyen Hue Walking Street. Rooftop sunset drink optional. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Morning excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels. Afternoon: War Remnants Museum and Ben Thanh Market. Evening optional Saigon street-food tour by scooter (safe, pillion). Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Drive to Ben Tre (Coconut Land). Boat along palm-lined canals; visit brick kiln, coconut candy, and mat-weaving. Tuk-tuk ride through villages; lunch with elephant-ear fish. Continue to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
Early boat to Cai Rang Floating Market. Visit fruit garden, taste seasonal tropical fruits. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for departure flight or extend beach stay in Phu Quoc/Mui Ne.
